  • Michael Rodrigues

    YOUTH MENTOR

My name is Michael Rodrigues and I was born 09/13/98 in Providence, Rhode Island. I was raised in Pawtucket and have been working with kids since I graduated from Tolman High School in 2017. I am a first-generation American, as my mother was born in Senegal and my dad was born in Cape Verde. Something about myself is that I love to draw and cook, and I recently played pro basketball in Cape Verde and Morocco. It was a great experience as it was my first time out of the country! I’m still trying to pursue my dreams! I’m looking forward to bonding with the kids and inspiring them. I want to show them that anything is possible if you put your mind to it because I was once in their shoes not too long ago.
